Who We Are

"WellSpring is a Biblical Community of Believers who loves God and others."

	WellSpring Community Church is an innovative church in the Clayton area. We have members from many different denominations making us non-denominational in many aspects. We have chosen to affiliate with the Southern Baptist Convention for the purpose of missions and to develop other ministries together. We use a broad range of methods to help believers encounter Christ during a worship service. We use multi-media, drama, band, practical messages, casual environment, small groups in the homes and ministry based governmental structure. This is just the beginning of the many unique ways that our church is reaching out to the unchurched and burned out in our community.

VISION OF WELLSPRING


	“WCC is a group of Christ followers struggling together on the journey of life through authentic worship of the creator of the universe in every aspect of their lives, through caring for one another, through committing to the disciplines necessary for maturity in service and knowledge, and through reproducing themselves in their community, nation, and world.” (Acts 2:42-47; Matthew 22: 37-39; 28: 19-20)

WHAT DO WE VALUE?


AUTHENTICITY
	Every believer should strive to be real with God and those they encounter on the Journey.

	"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks." John 4:23

WORSHIP
	We value the privilege to express our love for Christ through our life actions

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy to offer your bodies as a living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God-this is your spiritual act of worship" Rom. 12:1


DISCIPLINE

We value the individual being disciplined to go beyond salvation to become more intimate and personal in his relationship with Christ
Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me….If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.” John 15: 4,7

MINISTRY AND SERVICE

We believe that each person should reflect Christ’s character of servant leadership. We believe that a team approach to service is more effective for accomplishing the vision

FELLOWSHIP

We strive to create community by encouraging, supporting and praying for one another as members of a healthy, Biblically functioning community – the family of God – sharing our lives together.

"By this shall all men know that you are my disciples – that you have love for one another." John 13:35

COMPASSION

We believe that impacting our community, nation, and world is birthed out of a Christ like compassion.

"His intent was that through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known." Eph. 3:10
