FrontierLand Preschool Ministry

Security

In FrontierLand, we strive to make a secure and safe place for your child. Each teacher and volunteer goes through training, and background checks are done on everyone. Each child has an assigned nametag with a unique identification number. Parents/Guardians are provided with an identically numbered identification tag. Your child’s identification number will also be used for on-screen paging during services, if your assistance is needed.

Wellness Policy
FrontierLand asks that you please keep your child home if they exhibit any of the following symptoms:
1.Fever
2.Vomiting or diarrhea
3.Any symptom of childhood diseases such as scarlet fever, German measles, mumps, chicken pox or whooping cough.
4.Common cold—from onset through one week
5.Sore throat
6.Croup
7.Any unexplained rash
8.Any skin infection—boils, ringworm or impetigo
9.Pink-eye or other eye infection
10.Runny noses that are constant or green in nature
11.Any communicable disease

These are the guidelines that we follow, and we expect that a child be free of fever for 24 hours after a contagious disease before coming back to FrontierLand. We do not dispense any medication to children, and if a child appears to be or becomes ill during class, we will page the parent or guardian out of the service. We desire to have every child feel welcome in FrontierLand, however we must adhere to the Golden Rule and not put any of our children at risk for being ill.
